How do I know if I get Ryan or Heather?
Your level decides it. I'm the coach for 4.5-and-up players, and Heather is the expert for everyone building toward that level. Exactly where you land gets sorted out in the interview, not guessed from a number on a form. Same price, same service, same standard either way.
What if the coach isn't the right fit?
Within 72 hours of your first live session, tell us and we'll reassign you to the other coach at no cost. You don't have to justify it. If there's no suitable reassignment, we'll refund you in full.
What if I don't have an official DUPR rating?
Give your best honest estimate on the application and say so. It doesn't disqualify you. It just affects who you're matched with initially.
Why 45 minutes once a week instead of shorter sessions more often?
An hour tends to overload you with more than you can actually use, and 30 minutes never leaves room for real questions. 45 minutes is the balance for this first cohort. This is the session where we diagnose and set direction, not where you rack up practice volume.
What are the group calls?
The whole cohort on one call, going through film together and pulling out the big, macro ideas that apply to everyone, not just whoever's clip is up. It's also a chance for all of us, coaches included, to actually get to know each other. Format and cadence are being worked out with this first group; you'll know the schedule before your month starts.
What's the client portal?
A private login, individualized to you, where everything lives: your plan, notes from every session, the drill library, and the guides and videos I recommend. You're not digging through a DM thread to find what I told you three weeks ago.
Why is this priced below what coaching like this normally costs?
Because you're first and there are no results to point at yet. Coaching from other top pros in this sport runs $250-650 a month, and this is well below that. I need a handful of people to run the real thing with, tell me where it breaks, and let me use their story afterward. It goes up after this cohort.
What do I need to record video with?
Your phone. A tripod or a friend filming from behind the baseline works best, and any clip of you actually playing is useful. We're still settling on exactly how much footage to ask for each week, more on that once you're in.
Is this a subscription?
No. One month, one payment, no auto-renewal, no card kept on file.
What if I get injured or have to travel?
Life happens. If you get hurt or have to travel, tell us and we'll work through it with you on a case-by-case basis rather than you just losing the time.
What happens if I miss a session?
We know life gets busy. Give us 24 hours' notice if you can and we'll get it rescheduled; less notice than that, or a no-show, and it counts as used. If your coach has to cancel, it's always rescheduled, and you'll never miss out on the value.
Can you help with an injury or tell me if I should play through something?
No, and we won't try. If something hurts, we pause that part of your plan and point you to a real doctor. We're coaches, not doctors, and we don't pretend otherwise.
Do I have to let you use my footage in content?
No. Coaching use and marketing use are two separate permissions. You have to agree to us reviewing your video privately in order to be coached, obviously. Letting us use it in our social media content is entirely optional, has no effect on your price or your coaching, and you can revoke it later.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes, 18 or older for this cohort.
Is this first come, first served?
No. It's application and interview based. Submitting the form doesn't guarantee a spot. We review every application, talk to you briefly, and choose the four or five people who fit best.
